The party appetizer nobody leaves alone.

Some recipes are polite.

These are not those recipes.

Sticky, smoky, sweet with just enough heat to keep people reaching for “just one more.” Whether you’re feeding a crowd, setting out game day snacks, or just looking for an excuse to eat meatballs straight from the skillet—we support your decisions.

These little monsters come together fast and disappear even faster.

🔥 Sticky Sweet Heat BBQ Meatballs

Sweet upfront. Savage underneath.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

For the Sauce:

  • 3/4 cup Pretty Vicious Sweet Heat BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tbsp grape jelly (trust the process)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional: pinch of chili flakes for extra attitude

Let’s Get Into It:

1. Build the Meatballs

Combine beef, pork, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, parmesan, and seasonings.

Mix gently. Don’t overwork it unless you enjoy hockey pucks.

Roll into golf ball-sized meatballs.

2. Brown Them Up

Bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes
OR
Pan-sear until browned and cooked through.

3. Build the Sauce

In a skillet or saucepan, combine:

  • Pretty Vicious Sweet Heat BBQ Sauce
  • Grape jelly
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Worcestershire

Simmer 3–4 minutes until glossy and sticky.

4. Toss & Glaze

Add meatballs to the sauce and toss until coated in sweet, savage perfection.

🔥 Finish Like a Chef:

Top with:

  • Sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds
  • Extra drizzle of sauce

Serve with:

  • Toothpicks for parties
  • Garlic bread for chaos
  • Or over rice if you’re serious about dinner

🔥 Chef Tip:

The grape jelly sounds wrong until you taste it.

Then suddenly you understand everything.

Final Word:

These aren’t delicate little cocktail meatballs.

These are bold. Sticky. Loud.
Exactly how we like things around here.
